Bridgerton-inspired Styled Shoot

Weddings don’t have to be elegant, traditional affairs. Many are–and they look amazing every time!–but the most important thing is that your wedding reflects your life as a couple, whether you go with a low-key brunch shindig or a more extravagant affair.

Sometimes, though, you really just need something fancy. Have any of you been watching Bridgerton? It’s as engrossing as it is eye-catching, which is why Miranda Madison Events, Amanda Karis Photography, and Postl Press joined forces to plan a Bridgerton-inspired styled shoot!

It went every bit as smoothly as the other shoots that Miranda’s co-hosted, which helped us focus on getting the best shots we could. It’s a good thing, too: Wedgewood Secret Garden is jaw-droppingly, mind-bendingly, heart-achingly gorgeous!

My jaw legitimately dropped when I walked up to the shoot. Between that and the Bridgerton theme (I’ve been hooked!), it was the dreamiest setup ever. Like the Pink Garden Escape shoot we got to attend the day before, AZ Main Events and Prim Rentals had stunning accents that took Wedgewood Secret Garden to the next level. (Take a look at the stationery, too! Postl Press doesn’t just organize a great styled shoot–they have some fantastic wedding invites, too!)

Our male models were outfitted with sleek suits thanks to the amazing work of Celebrity Tux & Tails, with Strut Bridal on dress duty for both the bridesmaid and bridal gowns. Don’t they look spectacular?

No matter how splendid the clothing, though, styled shoots are there to give you full-on wedding inspiration, meaning that you gotta go the extra mile for hair and makeup. Kismet Beauty and Glamour and Superstition Makeup Co. are always up to the challenge, tailoring each model’s look to make them truly shine on camera! Both couples and the two bridesmaids looked runway-ready.

I can’t end this post without talking about the tablescapes, though. The Confetti Studio‘s tableware was simply elegant, and The Romantic Floral‘s arrangements provided some great pops of color to match the Bridgerton style. Of course, you get to the charcuterie board from Board + Graze and your mouth starts watering (or is it just me?), and between Decadent Macaron‘s treats and the picture-perfect cake from SIlver Rose Bakery, I was hungry the entire time. (That’s the curse of wedding photography. There you have it: the one downside!)

This shoot really felt like a way to escape from the real world, even just for a little while. I know I’m grateful to Miranda Madison Events, Amanda Karis Photography, and Postl Press for putting it together–it was a great shoot! Thanks, you guys!

Love,

Jo
